The notorious brand has expanded into more than we could have hoped, and finally us ladies have our own flagship store located at 64 Bleecker Street in SOHO. I took the liberty of sifting through the new collection to find the A1 looks I love. As you will undoubtedly discover while viewing my picks, the "minimal and monochromatic school girl with a dark past" look I subscribe to has heavily influenced each choice. SG Lewis is hitting us with that good good make out music in his debut EP entitled <i>Shivers</i>. For me, the whole thing feels quite sexy, and evokes memories of those moments just before leaving the club, after hours, getting in an Uber to go chill at someone's apartment, be it with friends or something more intimate. It's a soundtrack to the end of a night that you kind of don't want to end quite yet. The project is comprised of four super chilled tracks: Warm, No Less, Absent, and Shivers.<br />

The whole Shivers EP is overall dope and up on Spotify for your enjoyment. Look out for this Liverpool boy. I mean, he's already labelmates with Jessie Ware, Julio Bashmore, and our boys Disclosure for God's sake. SG Lewis is one act I'll be keeping a close eye on in 2016 for sure.<br />

Let's all take a moment and give extra thanks to the good Lord above for The 1975. The boys are back, stronger than ever, in their second single 'UGH!' released from their sophomore album titled, 'I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It'. The album doesn't come out until February 16th, 2016, but until then, we have been blessed with their first single, 'Love Me', and now 'UGH!'.<br />
<br />
The beat is infectious, the lyrics are catchy, and while the song explores the not so joyful theme of Matty's coke addiction, UGH! evokes nothing but happiness. I cannot wait for this album to drop, but until then, check out the track below.<br />

By definition, this band had the most flawless indie glo-up of 2015 with the release of their transcending album <i>Currents</i>. Everyone from Complex to i-D Mag was raving about them for a solid 3 months and with good reason. Their retro meets new-age sound is addicting and their discography is filled with great tracks you'll be forced to add to your alt/indie playlist.</span><br />

#2 goes right to <b>Half Moon Run</b>. This band encompasses everything you look for in any indie band: amazing music, in depth lyricism, and unbelievably catchy melodies. Their first full-length album <i>Dark Eyes</i> is the soundtrack to every study and chill session I've had since 2014. And, as an added perk, the band released another work of art this October called <i>Sun Leads Me On</i>. Personally, not much can trump their first album, but this one is nothing shy of greatness.<br />

If you like crying and being in your feelings, <b>The National </b>is the band for you. I'm not sure what it is, but they effortlessly craft the soundscape for all my moody Sunday's and have aided me in overcoming some of my toughest days. Their music is haunting in the most beautiful of ways and with a little over 8 albums, these guys clearly know what they're doing. Seriously tho, if you're in need of a good cry, The National is a <b>MAJOR</b> key.</div>

<b>Beach House </b>is one of my all-time favorite bands for several reasons. Their light and sweet sound is fused with an old-time vibe that almost anyone can connect with. Point and case: let us not forget the time Bey & Jay went to see them perform at Coachella. With several albums that each differ in minute ways, their trademark theme and sound very rarely switches up which is and always will be refreshing. </div>

20 year old Amber Bain is the mastermind behind <b>The Japanese House</b> which I suppose disqualifies her as a "band", but I'm allowed to bend my own rules. The sweeping sounds of each of her EPs is enough to make anyone fall in love, not to mention the innocently sweet melodies. The second EP <i>Clean</i> made it on everyone's playlists and propelled the name in front of all indie/alternative music lovers. If this is the first you're hearing of the The Japanese House, you are very welcome.<br />

The reason that I love these jeans so much is because they sit low on the hip and have a relaxed, straight leg<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 19.2px;">—</span>the two requirements for any quality boyfriend jean. They're the perfect compliment to sneakers and a basic tee, but can also be dressed up with heels and a blazer. In fact, when I don't have to worry about my little legs getting frostbite, I wear them at least twice a week. The day they wear down to the point of no return will be a sad day indeed, but I'll keep rocking them until then.</div>

Many of you may be wondering where the team and I have been for the past week or so. The answer to that question is the end of a very hectic semester.
