I said it and I'll say it again, Serena Williams is THE champion and quite possibly the greatest female athlete of all time. In honor of her 21st, let me repeat, TWENTY FIRST Grand Slam title, I think it's time the world recognize this woman as what she truly is - a goddamn legend. Here's why:

Representing a demographic that is constantly overlooked for achievements, beauty, and talent, Serena rises above every single time in both her game and her ensembles. Not once has someone looked so good playing tennis. NOT ONCE. With an athletic and beautiful figure, Serena can pull off a gorgeous custom made gown as well as her custom made tennis outfits while looking finer than a tall glass of wine. She is power, she is grace, she truly is Miss USA.

Twenty-freaking-one major championship wins.... I'm sorry, but who else do you know that can say that? Go ahead, take your time, I'll wait. Whether or not you watch tennis, you know her name and you know she dominates on the court no matter her opponent. She easily sets the standard for female athletes around the world and is regarded as the epitome of female health and fitness. Forget a supermodel figure (also beautiful), but I'd take Serena's muscles and curves any God given day. Sorry 'bout it.

With countless years as a public figure under her belt, Serena is one of the few to have a huge part in giving back to society and her own community of Compton, California. Participating in an extensive list of charities such as Elton John's AIDS foundation, Build Africa Schools, UNICEF, and even opening her own tennis schools in Compton, Serena recognizes her global responsibility and is meeting them ten-fold.

What tennis player do you know that could ever hit the nastiest crip walk after winning an Olympic gold medal? The very clear answer is no one other than Serena. As she effortlessly re-creates Beyonce's 7/11 music video and continually plays in style, I crumble inside and await the day I can meet her. Maybe her talent will rub off on me. Here's hoping.
