10 Lessons You've Learned From Drake

You can front all you want, but Drake is a wise young man who has done a lot for the rap game since 2009. Going for gold in all that he does while remaining true to himself, Drake has changed the outdated belief that all men must pretend to be as hetero as possible by ignoring the very real concept of feelings. Freely expressing his own through his music, The Boy has broken barriers in both rap and the way we view men in society, also proving more than capable to hold his own as we've all very recently witnessed in the Drake vs. Meek battle (I use the term "battle" lightly as it appeared to be more of a tragic loss for Meek). 1. Feelings Matter
Drake has never shied away from his feelings. His lyrics freely express how he deals with emotionally extraneous situations teaching listeners everywhere that you are free to share and work through your own feelings no matter who you are.

2. You Still A G If You Cry
Everyone gets sad and sheds a tear every once in a while. According to Drake, that does not make you "soft". It's your party, you can cry if you want to.

3. Boast, But Not Too Much
10 bands? 50 bands? 100 bands? Fuck it man. Let's just not even discuss it man.

4. Don't Be Afraid To Get A Lil Silly
Drake is a funny guy and doesn't let that get in the way of his street cred. After hosting SNL and the ESPYs (twice), he has shown the world that he is not afraid to crack a few jokes on himself and others.

5. Be Supportive
Be the support team on the sidelines for your friends and fam. Drake knows all about this. #OVORaptors 

6. Dance Like Nobody's Watching
Drake's got the moves and shows them of as much as possible. Dance how he dance, watch him dance.

7. Value Women, They Are Great
We all know how much Drake values womankind. Learn something from him and respect the women in your life. We are pretty damn spectacular.

Drake wears every single chain even when he's in the house. Do you?

9. Rep Your City
Never has anyone repped a city as hard as the 6 God. If you've got love for your hometown, let it be known.

10. Smile and Never Let Someone Trash You
Never be afraid to show off those pearly whites in fear of not looking cool. And on top of that, Drake has taught us to be kind and courteous, but to also to hand out some L's to people who think it is wise to publicly drag your name (*side eye* we're looking at you Meek).
