#119 Weighs In: Our Team Gives Their Picks for Song of the Summer 2k15
The inevitable annual tragedy has arrived and summer 2k15 has officially died. RIP forever in our hearts. While we look back with heavy hearts and misty eyes on these past few months, we would be remiss to not also give thanks for the many musical blessings bestowed upon us this summer. We had our lil team do just that and give their number 1 picks for Song of the Summer 2k15. Your fave might be on there, and if it isn't, let us know so that we may bask in summer's glow for even 2-4 minutes more.

Ava Skinner : I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times) - Jamie XX ft. Young Thug and Popcaan
I have never heard a song like this in my life. Though the combination of artists included may seem a bit unconventional, Jamie's happy, ethereal island beat, paired with Thugger providing some insanely good lyrics and Popcaan weaving it all together made this song an instant favorite for me and was one hunnid percent the backbone of my summer 2k15 soundtrack.
Jasmine Rayonia : Try Me - Dej Loaf
When I tell you I listened to this song every time I needed a confidence boost this summer, I mean every. damn. time. You can turn up to Dej, you can kick back to Dej, no matter what she will have you feeling like you can conquer the world. Think there's a better summer song than this one? Try me.
Sam Isaacs : Antidote - Travis Scott
1. It's Travis Scott.
2. ITS LIT.
If you need the perfect song to start your turn-up session and to kick off the weekend right, put this track on and get lifted. With the simplest melody paired with a heavy baseline, this song a certified lituation. You'll have this song stuck in your head all-day-every-day and you'll love every second of it. Location: at the night show.
Sherelle : Hotline Bling - Drake
What's a summer without a Drizzy hit? Much like his 2013 jam "Hold On, We're Going Home", Drake has managed to round out a summer of club bangers with a smooth, emotional, clean jam that both you and your momma can bop to. I'm obsessed. Thanks, Aubrey.
Bree Saint Urbain : Can't Feel My Face - The Weeknd
The Weeknd smacked the mainstream music scene with this hot new track and BRUH. I am *in love*. Catching you with its bangin' beat, and hooking you with its infectious chorus, Can't Feel My Face quickly and shamelessly became my feel good summer jam. The Weeknd never disappoints, and this song was no exception. #GetTurnt
Kate Lester : It's On You - Happyness
This alt-rock trio gives off good vibes--I'm talking picnics in the park, dancing around in circles vibes. If you can find a group with a more befitting band name, I'll give you my first born child and a cookie. This track never fails to put the biggest, dopiest grin on my face, and I bet it will do the same for you.
Sami Bartlett : Beautiful Now - Zedd and Jon Bellion
I first heard this in an Uber on the way to dinner at the beginning of the summer and I fell in love. It captures those warm summer nights of partying or chilling and enjoying the starry sky. It's the perfect mix of a little EDM/Dance music and Jon Bellion's beautiful voice. How can you go wrong with that mix?
Taylor Brew : Wade In Your Water - Common Kings
First time I heard this song was in Hawaii and to say I fell in love is an understatement. It's my go-to for those warm summer nights driving around with the top down or lounging on the beach. The melody transports you to a carefree place.
