Trend to Try: White Out

Everyone needs a little refresh once in a while. Life takes its toll and it's nice—scratch that, necessary—to treat yourself by changing things up a bit. When I'm feeling like I need to reenergize, decor is the first place I look. Inspired spaces make for inspired people, after all. And what better way to revamp a space during these dark winter days than making them light and bright again? Enter the white on white look. 

It's hard to go wrong with a crisp white wall, a good piece of white furniture, and white textiles. They don't all have to be the same shade—in fact, they shouldn't be. Layering multiple shades will give your space a fresh, clean feel while still providing some dimension. Keep it from looking too sterile with hints of wood, live plants, and pops of color throughout.
