The Floral Overdose

Ladies, your wardrobe does not have to resemble the Garden of Eden simply because the weather has changed. Wearing floral in the summer and spring has become an unwritten rule of thumb but it is time we figuratively erase it. I love a good floral piece as much as the next girl, but the look is tired and is no longer a stand-out piece. Like Miranda said, it is not groundbreaking. It is summer and you know your feet are melting in those Doc Martens. The cute and edgy look is difficult to pull of in the summer because you often look like a walking contradiction bearing your knees but burying your legs in hot-ass leather boots. In order to keep up the edgy look you so heavily desire, invest in some breathable platform sandals or buckled slides. Or maybe discontinue the whole look altogether? No? Maybe next year.
